Biography
Sweet, dark, sometimes sad, often funny, Tommy Douglas Keenan’s songs balance a keen sense of irony with a naïve optimism. Until very recently he went as ‘Tom Keenan,’ but rabid packs of delirious fans have forced him to change his name: one can only spend so much time hiding in limousines. Since releasing his first album, Romantic Fitness, he has toured the country repeatedly as a solo artist, as an actor, and with Heavy Bell, his project with Royal Canoe frontman Matt Peters. In 2025 he will be releasing his second album, Returns to the Moon.
